How to Set Up a Digital Menu for Your Restaurant in Under 10 Minutes

When a customer sits down at your table and reaches for their phone, they’re not being rude — they’re expecting a QR code. Digital menus have become the default in restaurants, cafes, and bars. But most tools for creating them are clunky, overpriced, or locked behind expensive POS systems.
Klynto’s Spaces & Menus module lets you set up a live digital menu tied directly to your product catalogue — in minutes, not hours.
What You’ll Need Before You Start
- A Klynto workspace with at least a few products added
- Five to ten minutes
That’s it.
Step 1: Add Your Products
Your digital menu pulls directly from the Products module. If you haven’t added your menu items yet, start there: go to Products, click New Product, and add your items with names, prices, descriptions, and categories.
Categories matter here — they become the sections in your menu (Starters, Mains, Drinks, etc.).
Step 2: Create a Space
A Space is a location or zone in your venue — a dining room, a bar area, a terrace. Spaces give context to your menu and let you assign different menus to different areas if needed.
- Go to Spaces in the sidebar
- Click New Space
- Give it a name (e.g. “Main Dining Room”)
- Save
Step 3: Create a Menu and Assign It
- Go to Menus in the sidebar
- Click New Menu
- Name your menu (e.g. “Dinner Menu”)
- Select the products and categories to include
- Assign the menu to your Space
- Click Publish
Your menu is now live.
